KPA – Kyffhäuser Pumpen Artern GmbH builds hygienic and aseptic centrifugal pumps for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
More than 2,500 customers worldwide rely on us: we respond within 24 hours, support our customers personally and on site, and find the shortest route to the right solution. Our range covers everyday transfer, self-priming duties, high delivery heads, mixing and shearing, and energy-optimised high-efficiency pumping, up to fully sterile designs for the highest hygiene requirements.
Every series is CIP/SIP-cleanable and built without dead spaces. Electropolished components, Cr-Ni-Mo steels and FDA- and USP-VI-approved elastomers keep cleaning intervals long and product quality high. Where a standard pump is not enough, we build custom solutions to your specification.

KYNX
KYNX is KPA's non-self-priming next-generation centrifugal pump, featuring flow-optimized component geometry for maximum hydraulic efficiency. It is available in two configuration levels – Smart and Premium – as well as with special materials for product-contact parts. It is used in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
KYNX Hybrid
The KYNX HYBRID is the self-priming variant of the next-generation product line, achieving a self-priming height of up to 3.5 m. It is available with either a standard or a sterile mechanical seal (Premium configuration level), covering a wide range of hygiene requirements. Typical application areas are the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
CPR 6
The CPR 6 is a self-priming hygienic stainless steel centrifugal pump with a self-priming height of up to 6 m, notably high for this type of pump. It is also suitable for viscous media up to 500 cP (without solids) and can be operated in either flow direction regardless of rotation. Typical applications include CIP return, yeast and cream pumping in dairies, breweries and the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
KN Series
The KN series is a non-self-priming, single-stage stainless steel centrifugal pump and the proven standard solution for everyday pumping tasks. It has a compact, cost-effective design and is available in several sizes (KN1 to KN6) for different flow rates. It is mainly used in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
S Series
The S series is a self-priming stainless steel centrifugal pump that operates reliably even without a permanently flooded supply line. It is particularly well suited to processes with varying liquid levels or for pumping air-liquid mixtures. It is optionally available with a double mechanical seal and is used, among other things, in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
KSP - Mixing and Shear Pump
The KSP is a mixing and shear pump made of robust stainless steel (Cr-Ni-Mo steel), designed for homogenizing and emulsifying demanding, even viscous media. Unlike classic centrifugal pumps, it has only limited self-conveying capability and is therefore usually used together with a feed pump. It is CIP/SIP cleanable and is mainly used in dairies, breweries, and the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
