The WDS SmartMould is a measuring mould for detection and monitoring mechanical influencing variables on the polycarbonate mould in chocolate plants, e.g. for the following areas of application:

• Recording of uneven process conditions

• Mapping of the positions with the strongest stresses on the mould 

• Precise overview of mechanical influences that occur in the plant

• Reduction of mould wear

The SmartMould is an ordinary polycarbonate mould that is prepared with sensors and measuring technology and passes through your chocolate plant from the mould's perspective. This means that the entire plant, including areas that are difficult to see such as the refrigerator, demoulding station and vibration, can be inspected. By recording the entire plant, the data can be analysed better than with data collection using statically installed sensors.
