Bucher Merk Process GmbH produces innovative, high-quality vacuum drying systems. Our Bucher Merk brand has a long tradition of drying expertise. Since 2021, Merk Process GmbH, founded in 1994, has been part of Bucher Unipektin AG, acting as the hub for drying technology. Today, Bucher Merk designs, engineers, manufactures and commissions state-of-the-art drying systems worldwide. At our Competence Centre for Drying Technology in Laufenburg, we develop drying processes and innovative technologies for our clients. Our team of engineers supports improvements or retrofits to ensure optimum performance of existing equipment. Our customers include leading global corporations and medium-sized companies in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

DryCab - Drying Cabinet
The Bucher Merk DryCab vacuum dryer cabinet has been especially designed to dry and process different heat-sensitive products for the food and pharmaceutical industry.
The DryCab works by freeze-drying (lyophilisation) and vacuum drying applications such as coffee, herbs, vegetables, herbal extracts and meat pieces. Our cabinet can also be designed as an autoclave for sterilisation in a separate step.
