Donaldson Steam Filter Elements
In food and beverage production, protecting product quality from microbiological contamination is essential. Sterile air filters trap microorganisms and spores, which must be eliminated through sterilization. Steam sterilization, commonly done in-line, uses heat and moisture to inactivate microorganisms by denaturing their proteins. A steam filter protects the system by preventing particles like rust and corrosion from damaging the filter.
Donaldson offers a variety of reliable steam filters suitable for every application, protecting equipment and processes that rely on that steam for efficient, clean and/or sterile operation. These include sintered stainless steel elements (P-GS VE), pleated stainless steel elements (LifeTec™ P-GSL N) and steam drains, in line with the requirements for food and beverage applications.

Donaldson's premium Sterile Air LifeTec™ filter elements are specifically designed as high-performance and efficient filtration solutions for sterile compressed air and gases. LifeTec filter elements for pre-, fine and sterile filtration offer enhanced technology to optimize your process and product integrity. The P-SRF series filter elements meet or exceed sterility requirements for food and beverage industries such as dairy, food ingredients, and alcoholic beverages. The P-SRF's stainless steel construction and media allow for excellent performance in some of the most challenging processed food and beverage applications

Donaldson's premium LifeTec™ filter elements are specifically designed as high-performance and efficient filtration solutions for liquids. Our liquid filtration solutions will help preserve the integrity of your product and enhance product performance at all stages:
Strength – robust polypropylene filter liner (rhombus structure), that improves static and flow conditions. Improved pressure stability and torsional stiffness, preventing damage to the filter element during filter replacement.
Performance – excellent flow rate and low pressure drop reducing total cost of ownership.
Availability – single piece flow manufacturing guarantees product availability of large batches and single item lots.
