Rod network belts

The rod network belts are real all-rounders - and of course food-approved in accordance with VO EG 1935/2004. Depending on the material class, they meet the most diverse requirements and can be used for a wide range of processes. A characteristic feature of this product category is its permeable and particularly hygienic design, which makes it the ideal choice when it comes to enrobing, glazing and spreading processes. But rod network belts from Märtens are also convincing in baking ovens, cooling tunnels, soldering plants and drying ducts. Depending on the material, the belts can withstand operating temperatures from -80° C to +280° C.

Our rod network belts are available in three product categories: The ECO is the economical version for standard applications, while the ELT (Extended Life Time), in which additional short individual meshes provide additional nodes and thus increased stability, can also withstand higher loads. Another advantage over the ECO is the much faster belt changes - splice times can be reduced by up to 80%.

Last but not least, the rod network corner belts are the hygienic solution for changing direction or conveying hot products in curves.

Optionally, the belts can also be equipped with points, so that even demanding production processes are no problem. Combinations with guide chains and carriers are also possible. And that's not all, because the materials used also ensure flexibility in production: there is a choice of spring steel wire, stainless steel wire and our material innovation K2390. The latter is recommended wherever high demands are placed on corrosion resistance, for example when using fruit acids or aggressive cleaning agents.

Plastic conveyor belts

The headline says it all: when it comes to durability and flexibility in use, no one can beat our plastic conveyor belts in a hurry.

PU conveyor belts are made of polyester fabric, which is available either colorless or dyed on request. Märtens also carries out special impregnations for you. These belts are often used in the bakery industry or where confectionery and snacks are produced.

Silicone conveyor belt is coated with silicone rubber and shows its strengths especially where temperature resistance is required, for example in the cooling channel. Its non-stick properties are also a clear plus wherever things get sticky.

The PVC conveyor belt, on the other hand, is an all-rounder, while our fluoroscopic belts excel in packaging lines with picking robots thanks to their special properties.

We offer our woven belts in different weaves, which can be combined with impregnations and coatings. They master small deflection radii effortlessly.

Our thermoplastic elastomer belts are cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant. This means that no particles get into the transported food, which is appreciated by many industries for processing their products - from meat to fruit and vegetables to baked goods.

Plastic curved belts from Märtens make it round. And by up to 180 degrees. By welding together several individual segments, flexible changes in direction can be realized. Carriers and guide elements are available to match.

Does your application require power for transport? Then our timing belts come into play, taking the strain off shafts and bearings and doing their job even with large center distances.

Here we present our plastic conveyor belts sorted by categories. We will be happy to advise you on the models and materials ideally suited to your production purposes.

Expanding Conveyor System

TOP features
- Variable product spacing
- Hygienic construction
- No changeover necessary when changing products

Typically, our spreading conveyor system with variable spreading is used for pick & place applications. However, it may also be necessary to bring products together or separate them in the production or packaging process or in front of enrobing systems. The highlight of this system is that the spreading range can be variably adjusted from 0 to 30 % manually or motor-driven, even during transport. Another advantage of this design is the small deflection diameter of only 40 mm - an aspect that is especially important for the transport of small products. Converting the system when changing products is thus a thing of the past. A clear plus in terms of flexibility and efficiency!

The closed belt surface is particularly hygienic and due to the silicone coating, the products do not stick to the material. Depending on your requirements, this system is optionally available with castors or machine feet. The machine frame and the chain cover are made of stainless steel 1.4301. An adjustable belt speed by frequency converter and an integrated transfer table for very small products are optionally available.

Metal Conveyor Belts

Sometimes narrow-meshed, sometimes wide-meshed, sometimes made of round wire, sometimes made of flat wire, our metal conveyor belts are exemplary in lasting long and carrying their load.

From frying to freezing, our wide spiral link belts prove to be a durable choice with their permeable construction and straight run - whether in stainless steel or a variety of steel grades.

Our loop joined wire belt with its typical permeable construction is made of wire eyelets and smooth cross bars. At the same time, it is very stable and thus suitable for conveying even heavy products.

In case of high tensile forces, we at Märtens recommend our tight spiral link belt, which also scores points in terms of straight running.

For lighter products, the inexpensive wire mesh belt is well suited, whose segments are connected with rods in a simple way.

Our flat rolled oven belt is, as its name suggests, optimized for use in ovens. Here, a smooth baking surface is just as important as the distribution of heat or the shortening of baking times due to its low thickness.

Can't see the right belt for all the links and meshes? No problem! Our knowledgeable staff will be happy to recommend the right product for your application. Let us enter into a dialogue to find solutions together!

Plastic modular belt

Low weight, high strength: Our modular conveyor belts are made of moulded plastic elements, which can be effortlessly connected in a variety of ways using bar joints. In addition to conventional versions in polyethylene, polypropylene or polyacetal, a range of special low-maintenance, stainless materials is also available

Polyethylene (PE):
Elastic, impact-resistant, cold-resistant, this material is suitable for applications to -73° C. FDA approved for use in food processing.

Polypropylene (PP):
Neither aggressive substances nor temperatures up to +100° C can affect this material. FDA approved for use in food processing.

Polyacetal (POM):
This plastic is perfect for applications within a temperature zone of -43° C to +95° C with its high tensile force and low friction values. FDA approved for use in food processing.

Polyamid (PA):
Robust, pliable material with exceptional belt strength and a high level of notched impact strength. Temperature range from -45° C to +110° C
