Low pressure foam cleaning is an efficient and safe method for the thorough cleaning of surfaces in hygiene-sensitive areas. It enables the large-area and visible application of cleaning agents and disinfectants in the form of a stable foam - ideal for use in the food industry, healthcare and industrial production environments.
How it works:
In foam cleaning, a cleaning agent or disinfectant is mixed with air and water using a special foam system and applied to the surfaces to be cleaned as an adhesive foam. The foam adheres longer than liquid detergents and therefore ensures a longer contact time and even distribution on vertical or hard-to-reach surfaces.
Advantages of foam cleaning:
Extended contact time: The foam adheres to surfaces and thus ensures optimum cleaning effectiveness
Reduced chemical consumption: Consistent dosing reduces consumption and protects the environment
Improved occupational safety: Reduced aerosol formation compared to spraying methods
Easy to use: Suitable for manual or automatic systems
High visibility: the cleaning foam makes the treated area clearly visible - ideal for checking surface coverage
Recommended equipment:
Special foam lances, mobile or stationary foam units and suitable cleaning chemicals are used for foam cleaning. Central cleaning systems with integrated foam technology can also be used.
