Reactive resin floorings from Silikal tested according to HACCP international standards

Certified supplier for the food industry

Silikal is one of the few flooring manufacturers in the world to have successfully undergone a differentiated test in accordance with the international HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines for the food industry. This means that users from industry, gastronomy and trade can be sure that with a reactive resin floor coating they are getting a product certified for the food sector. This is important not least for companies that want to be audited according to HACCP.
In the food industry, HACCP certification is now regarded as an important seal of quality for safety standards. The issue of hygiene plays an important role in this context, as do complaint-free equipment and hazard-free working conditions.
Accordingly, the standard systems for floor coatings at Silikal in Mainhausen were inspected: The seamless surfaces, easy cleaning and the possibility of coving were important cornerstones in the committee's assessment. Likewise the possibility of customized slip-resistance and also the enduring load-bearing capacity of the floor. The inspectors went into great detail on site with the assessment of installation instructions and also with the determination of training measures.
With the recognition as an HACCP-internationally certified supplier for food companies, Silikal not only provides its customers with an independent confirmation, but also supports them in obtaining their own certification. For the manufacturer's floor coatings, the corresponding proof of safety is already available. The test according to HACCP-international is voluntary and valid for two years.
